Featured, Politics

Tom Price’s recent confirmation to be Secretary of Health and Human Services has left his Congressional seat open with an election scheduled to fill it on April 18th.

The election will take place on April 18th and if no one gets 50% of the vote +1, there will be a run off election in June. There are 18 candidates that have qualified for the election, 11 Republicans, 5 Democrats, and 2 Independents.  This district went to Donald Trump by 1.5%.

Sunday, March 12th 2017 “Needles in a Haystack” hosted a democrat forum with focus on 5 democrat candidates in the race:  Ragin Edwards, Richard Keatley, Ron Slotin, Rebecca Quigg, & Jon Ossoff.  The forum was held in Roswell, Georgia with approximately 500 in attendance.  FYNTV.com  televised the event live and will have one on one interviews published soon.  See video below:

Senator David Perdue Discusses Immigration Latest On Fox News & ABC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) spoke with Trish Regan on Fox News Channel’s Sunday Morning Futures and George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week about recent meetings at the White House to fix the legal immigration system.

Highlights from Sunday Morning Futures

Negotiating A Deal: “The President has been very clear that any solution to DACA must include border security, including the wall, an end to chain migration, and an end to the visa lottery. Last week, we had two meetings at the White House. President Trump is very engaged on this issue, just like he was on tax. I’m hopeful we can get symmetry in this negotiation. In my business experience, that’s how you get to a deal and I still think there is a possibility to do that.”

Double Talk From Democrats: “It’s a gross distraction from the issue. Senators Schumer and Durbin both talked about ending parts of chain migration on the Senate floor. We’re doing things that the Democrats have voted for and have supported in the past. Under Bill Clinton in the 90s, we had a Presidential Commission actually recommend limiting chain migration and recommend moving to a merit-based immigration system based on who you are and not where you are from. The problem now is politics. That’s what’s so frustrating to all of us.”

Focusing The Scope: “Congress has failed three times in the last 11 years to fix the immigration system because they’ve been too comprehensive and tried to solve the legal problem, the temporary work visa problem, and the illegal immigration problem at the same time. What we’re doing now is limiting this debate to just the legal immigration system and I believe we can get to a solution.”

President’s Agenda Is Working: “If this were any other president getting the results that we’re getting right now in the economy, we would be crowing about the results. Two million new jobs created last year, 860 rules and regulations pulled back, 500 bureaucrats fired at the VA for non-performance, 300 fired in the Department of Education, consumer confidence is at a 17-year high, CEO confidence is at a 20-year high, 123 companies decided to give year-end bonuses because of our action on tax. This economy is beginning to move and what we have to do now is focus on immigration, infrastructure, and trade to keep moving the economy forward.”

Responding To Hawaii: “I don’t know the details of that yet, but it just heightens the fact that somebody made a mistake somewhere. As a member of the Armed Services Committee, I can assure you that we’ll get to the bottom of that.”

Highlights from This Week

Solving DACA: “The problem is Washington career politicians who just want to pander to their base. What we have right now is a gross misrepresentation of a meeting from Thursday. Two days earlier, the President held an hour-long open meeting with the media where Democrats and Republicans from both the House and Senate debated the issue. We want to solve the DACA problem. We want border security with a wall. We want to end chain migration and the visa lottery. That’s the scope we all agreed on Tuesday.”

Record Of Misrepresenting: “In 2013, Senator Durbin made the same allegation against a Republican leader in a meeting with President Obama, saying he chewed out the president and that this Republican leader was so disrespectful to President Obama they couldn’t even have the meeting. That’s what he said that in 2013. Later that day, President Obama’s own press secretary came out and said, ‘it did not happen.’ This is about a gross misrepresentation, and it’s not the first time.”

Current Negotiation Parameters: “We’re focusing on four things. The President has been consistent all along about what he wants in an immigration deal. I have been consistent. Senator Cotton has been consistent. Any deal on DACA has to include border security, including a wall, and the end to chain migration. That’s been consistent for the past year.”

What We Learn From Polls

What We Learn From Polls

Beware the pop quizzes the various internet sites ask of its readers. I personally like to consult Bob Livingston’s Personal Liberty site where they ask a serious of ‘loaded’ questions requiring  only a “yes” or “no” answer, without qualification. For example, today’s series of questions were:

1) Is President Trump mentally fit to serve? Yes or no? Of course he is and he demonstrates it daily. He’s running circles around Congress, putting them into positions where they have been legislatively moribund in their decision making abilities, not wanting to threaten their financial supporters. Add in the treachery of six Republican Senators, John McCain primary among them, the wailings of the deranged media and the question becomes, just who is mentally fit?

2) Should President Trump have kept Steve Bannon on board at the White House? Yes or No? He could have, but Bannon best serves Trump from the outside where he promises to attack all Deep State Republicans for removal, which brings us to the next question…..

3) Is the GOP headed for major upsets in the 2018 midterms? Yes or No? Yes, but it will not be the Democrats replacing feckless Republicans, it will be candidates from the Conservative Tea Party side of the Republican party. Democrats are going all in for Marxism. That won’t do!

4) Is Trump’s attack on NBC an assault on their 1st Amendment Rights? Yes or No? The President has a 1st Amendment right to defend himself just as NBC enjoys a 1st Amendment to promote Democrat propaganda against him. It’s a two way street, isn’t it?

5) Does a gun registry threaten the 2nd Amendment? Yes or No? It certainly does. A registry, as we saw in Australia, permitted a rogue socialist government to arbitrarily seize all citizens guns because government knew where they were located. Australians are now being overrun by street criminals, with guns, and violent muslims pushing the envelope of their silly demands.

6) Is Roy Moore the beginning of a broader conservative revolt in the GOP? Yes or No? Of course he is. Despite Senate Majority Leader McConnell’s throwing millions of NRC donations in support of his picked candidate, and the Administration’s support, Moore won. It’s a start.

7) Should the U.S. launch a military strike on North Korea? Yes or No? Not peremptorily. South  Korea is in the way. It should be their decision, unless NK launches a first strike. We can push them though, by shooting down their next test launch missile.

8) Should bump stocks and similar devices be banned? Yes or No? The question now is should they be seized? Stores have sold out and one can be fashioned by any home grown fabricator of which America is gifted with a vast rich pool. Full automatic weapons are illegal to possess without the hard to get ATF tax stamp. Another law will do nothing to stop violence with guns,…. or knives, or hammers or cars, for that matter.

9) Time for Nancy Pelosi to retire? Yes or No? A silly question, isn’t it? Absolutely not. For the GOP, Nancy is the gift that keeps on giving.

10) Will the GOP establishment sabotage Roy Moore? Yes or No? Yes, they’ll try but, it will only serve to confirm what voters everywhere already know, draining the swamp will not be complete until the establishment GOPer’s are all swept away too. That’s my view. What’s yours?Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now go get ‘em. (16Oct17)

(R) Karen Handel Endorsed by “Reach Across the Aisle” Former (R) Senator Saxby Chambliss

Featured, Politics

Former GA Senator Saxby Chambliss has endorsed Karen Handel in the 6th District Congressional race. Chambliss chose to retire from US Senate in 2014. Many feel this was due to moderate votes and willingness to work with Democrats made him too vulnerable for re-election in 2014.

Senator David Perdue, who won Chambliss’ seat in 2014, has endorsed Dan Mooney for the 6th District Congressional race. During Perdue’s campaign he referred to himself as the true outsider in the race. Perdue early on supported Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Handel was one of Perdue’s opponents in the Senate race which Perdue ultimately went on to win. So, if Perdue is a conservative and Saxby was a moderate at best; you pick which candidate will go to D.C. and most emulate the Senator who endorsed them.

Republicans Better Address Health Care, Tax Reform, and Build a Wall or Risk Losing The House in 2018

Featured, Politics

Does the thought of Nancy Pelosi once again being Speaker of the House terrify you? After the failed attempt to repeal and replace Obama Care the American people put health care squarely on the shoulders of the Republicans. Republicans will need to pass health care, tax reform and fund the construction of a wall on our southern border. April 18th we will find out how much trouble the Republicans may be in with voters. That’s election day in the 6th Congressional District of Georgia. Democrats need 24 seats to take over The House. If their candidate, Jon Ossoff, wins that may put in motion what Democrats hope to be 23 more seats in 2018.

There are 435 seats in The House of Representatives. See the statistics of past years below:

– 2004 –

  • Republicans: 232
  • Democrats: 202

A difference of 30 seats.

-2006-

  • Democrats: 233
  • Republicans: 202

The Democrats won 31 seats and took control.

-2008-

President Obama was elected.

  • Democrats: 257
  • Republicans: 178

The Democrats won another 21 seats.

-2010-

Republicans take back control.

  • Republicans: 242
  • Democrats: 193

The Republicans increased 63 seats. This was the largest single shift in an election cycle.

-2012-

  • Republicans: 234
  • Democrats: 201

The Republicans lost 8 seats.

-2014-

  • Republicans: 247
  • Democrats: 188

The Republicans gained 13 seats.

-2016-

  • Republicans: 241
  • Democrats: 194

The Republicans lost 6 seats.

24 seats is what the Democrats need to take back over control.

Who will hold The House of Representatives in 2018?

WV (D) Joe Manchin III, ND (D) Heidi Heitkamp, and IN (D) Joe Donnelly Vote to Confirm Neil Gorsuch for Supreme Court

Featured, Politics

Senators (D) Joe Manchin, (D) Heidi Heitkamp, and (D) Joe Donnelly broke ranks with the fellow Democrats, to vote for Neil Gorsuch as Associate Supreme Court Justice. All three candidates are facing re-election in 2018. Trump had decisive wins in North Dakota, West Virginia, and Indiana. These are three Senate seats Republicans feel they can gain in 2018. All three Senators may have very strong Republican opponents and they certainly don’t want to be explaining to voters why they voted against Neil Gorsuch for Supreme Court.

Also in our morning monologue, we discuss President Donald Trump’s retaliation for Syria’s use of chemical weapons on their own people. After the monologue we start looking at all the conspiracy theories regarding the power struggle between Chief Strategists, Steve Bannon and Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Senior Advisor, Jared Kushner.

Assumptions

One must ask why it is assumed that the logical candidate to replace a conservative office holder, must be a Democrat? The plethora of campaign appeals from loser Democratic PAC’s, for donations to combat those dangerous, misguided Republicans, claim in the text of their appeals, that Trumps election was an aberration and that American’s really demand that Democrats be returned to power because that awful Trump is so divisive & etc., etc.!

Well, no, they assume incorrectly! The vote for Donald Trump signaled the beginning of the end of official criminality, Obama’s terrible legacy and, expectantly, an end to the Democrats Marxist-Socialist experiment in collectivist government.

The Left ignores the reasoning that got them in their present unhappy circumstance in the first place. The voters didn’t want a third Obama term. The voters didn’t want that crooked Hillary Clinton screwing up America any more and, Americans really expect justice to be served for her crimes. Americans once assumed the FBI could be trusted implicitly. The Clinton’s ruined all that. The FBI is now wreathed in controversy, infested with Clinton partisans and politically, stand on the wrong side of Constitutionality earning the same level of trustworthiness as aluminum siding or Obamacare salesmen. Once lost, trust cannot be reinstated without pain.

The Left is mounting an all out assault on Donald Trump on their assumption that his Presidency is illegitimate. But the underlying issues that motivated voters to elect Trump are ignored.  Americans don’t want to share bathrooms with perverts. Americans are sick and tired of illegal alien intruders breaking into our country, protected by Renegade Cities and murdering Americans on the streets with impunity. That includes Islam. Americans are dismayed by the stupid Liberals driving our government into unbearable debt. Americans are saddened by the less than adequate quality of graduates being turned out by Commie infested colleges and universities and Americans are exhausted from the tax burden that pays for everything except our national defense. They’re tired of unaffordable healthcare and being told they had to buy it regardless. All that is what the Democrats did to us and will do to us again in the future if Donald Trump fails. Now why would they assume we could possibly want democrats in power again? Their message is the same one they’ve used for decades and it still rings hollow!

Americans voted for Donald Trump because he promised solutions and, ‘surprise,’ he’s delivering. The Left is going berserk trying to change the results of the election that gave us Donald Trump. We’ve had nearly a year of Progressive generated crisis’s all centered around a fake Democrat created narrative about Trump and the Russians, ignoring greedy Clinton’s own collusion evidence with the Russians. Nothing was proved, yet it’s still droning on. So, why do Democrats assume that we would even tolerate them in office any more? Do you?

The Democrat Party is leaderless. The only solid front presented to us in the Congress is when the aging and demented Nancy Pelosi and the feckless Chuck Schumer grab the podium and spew out their fear mongering claims that Republican policies will lead to Armageddon, ‘women and children to be hardest hit.’ What’s to replace the ranks of geriatric Democrat leadership in the future? Anarchists, Islamics, and antifa’s, all now learning their trade on our streets today, like the Clintons did back in the 1960’s. Now is the time to stick a fork in ‘em. They’re done or should be. Sadly, Republicans won’t do it. They’re still afraid of wielding the power we gave ‘em.

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (07Dec17)

The Power of Shouting

The Power of Shouting

When political correctness trumps the truth to suppress alternate opinions, it is because PC is accompanied by a bodyguard of fear. Fear of being shouted down without benefit of dialogue, fear of being ostracized by one’s peers in the workplace, and fear of losing a job because you, the ‘offender,’ was not part of the team. PC is politically corrupt, forged in lies and totally engaged in cognitive dissonance. These people are not just tendentious, they are outright evil in smothering the opinions of others and killing debate.

In its present disguise, coming to us to protect feel good policies supposedly to empower the powerless, etc., the practitioners of PC reveal themselves as haters of Western culture, haters of cultural traditions, Christians, Confederate statues and community norms. Disagree and the organized mobs of PC will invade your space, tear up your copy, commandeer your speaking platform and seize the outlets of digital communication to attack the offender until he is gone.

Cloaked in fake news, outright lies, disinformation and threats of retribution, the power of shouting in the hands of the PC crowd, becomes the tool of oppression and victims, who fail to submit are usually never heard from again. Another definition of Political Correctness, is found in the word hypocrisy.

Political correctness over several decades in Hollywood, has protected a financial movie maker, Harvey Weinstein, from the exposure of his outright debauchery, indecency to women and his predatory sexual misconduct. Exactly the same thing happened in the Clinton presidency and within the priesthood of the Catholic Church. Overwhelmed with pedophiles as they were, decent priests, at all levels of the church’s hierarchy, suffered the power of silent shouting.

For Weinstein, instead of the censure a righteous and decent community would have heaped on him, he was lavished with praise even by his frightened victims. Some women have bravely come forward to reveal Weinstein’s depredations against them. One young model even had the audacity to record his very own words in his attempt to coerce her into his bed. The truth at last, PC be damned, has opened the floodgates of hypocrisy. Harvey Weinstein’s reputation cannot be salvaged. Of the many luminaries seen in his hundreds of photographs, none have the PC power to save him. ReHab will not suffice, forgiveness is for God. A prison cell will do it.

Harvey Weinstein will be lost. the Political Correctness that has enveloped Hollywood will only subside when it is challenged by brave defenders of the truth, not to mention the box office. The power of Hollywood, like the power of Senatorial RiNO’s, may be on the wane. Nothing lasts as long as nothing, and when dysfunction becomes the norm and predators bask in its glory, once revealed, the whole house of cards come tumbling down, to…nothing. RIP Hollywood.

Here’s my final thoughts on PC. It all comes from a group of non-thinkers who enjoy “liberal privilege.” That simply means never having to say they’re wrong.  Rules that apply to others do not apply to Liberals. In our liberal cities we see that laws to protect public and private property can be suspended in order to allow leftists liberals the room they need to air their PC feelings.

Liberal privilege is Political Correctness and nothing more. They cannot survive without it and that’s why we are overwhelmed by it, but, thanks to Harvey Weinstein, the Catholic Priesthood, and Clinton’s Democrat party, all of it, we may be entering a new healing phase. When did common decency and shame lose its power of shouting?

New Poll Shows Americans Support President Trump’s Immigration Policies

“The Schumer Shutdown Was A Result Of One Thing: Democrats Misread The American People”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) spoke with Steve Doocy on Fox News Channel’s Fox and Friends about a new poll showing that Americans overwhelmingly support President Trump’s efforts to fix our legal immigration system, including increasing border security, eliminating the outdated visa lottery, ending chain migration, and resolving the DACA situation.

Highlights:

Misreading The American People: “The Schumer Shutdown was a result of one thing: Democrats misread the American people.”

Four Parameters: “The President has been very consistent all along. He said he wants a compassionate solution to the DACA situation and any solution has got to include border security with the wall, an end of chain migration, and an end to this visa lottery.”

New Poll is Proof: “This poll is a great illustration of where the Democrats are out of touch with the American people. 80% of America wants border security and over two thirds want a DACA solution to include border security with a wall, an end of chain migration, and an end to this visa lottery. All along, the President’s instincts about this have been right.”

Securing The Border: “There is symmetry here. Both sides want to end the visa lottery. Both sides want to solve the border security issue, and the President has proven he is right over and over again that a wall is necessary to do that.”

Ongoing Negotiations: “The President has been very engaged on this issue. I was at the White House this week, along with Democrats in different meetings. We have a road map that we believe not only will pass the Senate, but also pass the House.”

Senator Perdue is the only Fortune 500 CEO in Congress and is serving his first term in the United States Senate, where he represents Georgia on the Armed Services, Banking, Budget, and Agriculture Committees.

6th District Candidate (R) Karen Handel Releases Campaign Video Going After (D) Jon Ossoff

Politics

The failed American Health Care Act just changed the entire GA 6th Congressional District race. Karen Handel releases a very good campaign video going after John Ossoff but can Republicans promise to stop Nancy Pelosi’s agenda? And that they are the party that can deliver? Although Handel’s campaign video may have the right message, it may be the wrong time. #BKP explains how the failed bill may be a gift to Ossoff and leaves Republican candidates scrambling to decide which side of the Republican party they are on. Three strikes and the Republican party could lose the House.
