PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Deputies arrested Mikah Wilson and two others Wednesday evening following a search warrant at a residence on Davis Mill Road, according to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation stemmed from a recorded jail call in which Wilson and known associates were seen displaying firearms on video at his home.
Wilson had recently been released from the Henson Hotel.
During the operation, deputies executed both a search warrant and an arrest warrant.
Wilson was taken into custody, along with two other individuals who were visiting the residence.
One of the visitors had an outstanding warrant in Paulding County, while the other was the primary suspect in an ongoing investigation.
All three were booked into custody, the sheriff’s office said.
The arrest highlights law enforcement efforts to address illegal firearm activity and gang-related behavior in the county.
The sheriff’s office credited the operation to the Criminal Investigations Division, Juvenile Division, Warrants Unit, and Patrol Deputies.
