Citizen complaints on a residence in Towns County leads to drug arrest

TOWNS COUNTY, Ga. – Towns County Drug Investigators received citizen complaints about a residence on Chicken Pitt Road.

During the investigation, probable cause was developed initiating a search of the residence which resulted in the confiscation of an amount of Methamphetamine which field-tested positive along with Marijuana.

Lenord James Fields, age 50, Young Harris, GA was
arrested and charged with:

  • Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects

Sheriff Ken Henderson commends the citizen reporting the drug activity. Law enforcement and the community working together can make a difference.
