Woman arrested in Lumpkin County for trafficking methamphetamine

LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. – On April 25, 2024, Lumpkin County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a female subject Courtney Yother, 32-year-old white female from Dawsonville, Georgia.

During the traffic stop, the Lumpkin County k9 alerted on Yother’s vehicle and a search was conducted resulting in deputies locating approximately 730 grams of methamphetamine.

This traffic stop was based on a drug investigation being conducted by the GBI Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

Yother was arrested on scene for trafficking methamphetamine.
