White County Sheriff’s Office Announces Multiple Arrests in “Operation Naughty List” Enforcement Effort

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — The White County Sheriff’s Office announced the results of a targeted enforcement effort aimed at individuals with outstanding warrants and suspected drug activity.

Beginning Dec. 1, 2025, deputies and investigators with the White County Sheriff’s Office launched “Operation Naughty List,” a multi-week operation focused on locating wanted individuals and addressing methamphetamine-related offenses throughout the county.

According to the sheriff’s office, the operation resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs and related items. Several individuals were taken into custody on charges ranging from drug trafficking and possession to probation violations and failure to appear.

Those arrested include:

• Jamie Melissa Moore, 45, of Cleveland, charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of drug-related objects.
• Rosa Brooks Lawton, 38, of Cleveland, charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug-related objects.
• Luke Haroldson McClure, 38, of Cleveland, charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of drug-related objects.
• Anthony Stephen Thompson, 54, of Dahlonega, charged with possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear for the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.
• Joseph Christopher Morris, 39, of Cleveland, charged with possession of methamphetamine.
• Joshua Rollins Reid, 45, of Mount Airy, charged with aggravated assault related to a family violence incident.
• Billy Garrison Standridge, 54, of Cleveland, charged with felony probation violation.
• Marah Grace Gireath, 29, of Cleveland, charged with felony probation violation.
• Michael Todd Hunnicutt, 35, of Cleveland, charged with misdemeanor probation violation.

The sheriff’s office said the operation was part of an ongoing effort to address drug-related crime and ensure individuals with active warrants are held accountable. Officials did not release details on future enforcement efforts but said similar operations may continue.
