Wanted Fugitive Arrested at Floyd County Campground

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. – A wanted fugitive was arrested at a local campground after Floyd County sheriff’s deputies located him hiding inside a tent, according to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies Lord and Noles located Eric Brewer at the campground and took him into custody without incident, the sheriff’s office reported Monday.

Brewer was wanted on a felony aggravated battery warrant. He was arrested and booked into the Floyd County Jail.

Officer Smith with the Floyd County Police Department assisted deputies with the arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.
