TOWNS COUNTY, Ga. – On Monday afternoon July 15, 2024, around 2:30 pm, 39-year-old Bruce Douglas Partin, Jr. a trustee with the Towns County Sheriff’s Office inmate work detail was working at the Towns County Transfer Station (county dump) off Hwy. 288 walked away from the work detail duty into the woods.
Towns County Sheriff’s Office deployed the drone and K9 tracking dog with no success.

As an update, the subject was last seen on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at approximately 1:20 p.m.
Partin, Jr. was spotted on a trail camera at the end of Ivy Mountain Road which is in the Fodder Creek area.
Towns County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to his arrest.
