Next Forsyth County Comprehensive Plan meeting will be held Wednesday

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Forsyth County will hold the next Comprehensive Plan meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Fowler Park Community Room (Fowler Park Recreation Center), 4110 Carolene Way in Cumming.

State law requires a county’s comprehensive plan be updated every 5 to 10 years. The plan identifies the type growth, density and commercial development citizens would like to see.

This is your opportunity to give input into the future of Forsyth County.

Several new documents are now available on the project website, including the following draft plan materials and summaries of community input:

  • Inventory and Assessment
  • Interim Needs and Opportunities
  • Stakeholder Interview Summary
  • Meeting Series 1 Input Summaries
  • Meeting Series 1 Presentation and Display
