Missing kangaroo found safe

GILMER COUNTY, Ga. – This wild story had north Georgians jumping to try and safely locate Stevie, a 3-foot-tall, red kangaroo.

Yes – that’s right, a kangaroo in north Georgia.

Stevie is in north Georgia with his owner. They were visiting from out of state when Stevie went missing in the Blackberry Mountain area on Friday, Nov. 24.

Luckily, thank to Sgt. Beavers, Stevie has been located safe!

We love a hoppy ending!
