PRESS RELEASE – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s (GBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a search warrant leading to the arrest of Raul Alberto Flores, 23, of Pendergrass, GA.
Flores has been charged under Georgia’s Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act, as well as Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
The operation involved multiple agencies, including the GBI Digital Forensics Unit, Jackson County District Attorney’s Office, Pendergrass Police Department, and West Jackson Fire and EMS.
“This arrest underscores our unwavering commitment to protecting our children from online exploitation,” said Sheriff Kevin B. McCook. “The successful operation was made possible through dedication and teamwork to bring justice to those who prey on the innocent.”
