Election Graphic
GEORGIA – Georgia’s U.S. Senate race on the Republican side appears headed to a runoff between Derek Dooley and Mike Collins. Collins currently leads the vote count, but with five candidates in the race, no candidate secured more than 50% of the vote required to win outright. As a result, a runoff election will be held on Tuesday, June 16.
On the Democratic side, incumbent Senator Jon Ossoff ran unopposed in the primary.
Ossoff will face the winner of the Republican runoff election in November.
