Franklin County Man Arrested on Child Exploitation Charges After Search Warrant

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ga. – A 25-year-old Franklin County man was arrested on 11 counts of sexual exploitation of children following the execution of a search warrant at a Martin residence, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said its Criminal Investigation Division conducted a weeks-long investigation into the alleged possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material by someone at a residence on Brown Road.

On Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Response Team assisted investigators in executing a search warrant at 1535 Brown Road in Martin.

As a result of the search, James Dakota Quincy Bacle, 25, was arrested and charged with 11 counts of sexual exploitation of children under O.C.G.A. § 16-12-100.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation remains ongoing, including the examination of electronic devices seized during the search. Additional charges are anticipated, according to authorities.

During the search, investigators also reported finding what they described as highly unsanitary living conditions involving two other adults and a young child. The circumstances were unrelated to the child-exploitation investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services was called to the residence, and the child was temporarily placed with other family members.

Ronnie Dwayne Stanley and Alyssa Belle Stanley, the child’s parents, were each arrested and charged with second-degree cruelty to children.

The sheriff’s office credited its Criminal Investigation and Patrol divisions, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Response Team and Georgia DFCS for their assistance with the investigation.
