Vehicle fire in Dawson County

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – Dawson County Emergency Services personnel responded to a call earlier in the day on June 26.

The call was in regards to a vehicle fire off of 136, near the north end of the county.

According to a statement released by Dawson County Emergency Services, “the fire did spread to a small area of vegetation and unfortunately, the vehicle and most of its contents were a total loss.”

The statement continued, “Thankfully, no one was injured. Thank you to Pickens County Emergency Services and Dawson County Sheriff’s Office for the assistance.”
