WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is assisting in the investigation of a fatal crash on Hwy. 115 in White County Saturday.
The crash occurred near Shenandoah Drive, between Black Road and Ga. 255 South when the driver of a 2007 Hyundai Elantra sedan was traveling east on Ga. 115 and the driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck failed to maintain his lane, crossed the centerline, and struck the sedan head-on according to the Georgia State Patrol accident report.
The driver of the Hyundai who died at the scene has been identified as Robert Maynor. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
