4.1 Earthquake in Tennessee felt into North Georgia

BREAKING NEWS – A 4.1 earthquake was recorded today, May 10, 2025, striking Tennessee but felt into surrounding states.
The earthquake occurred 20 km SE of Greenback, Tennessee but the shakes were felt well into North Georgia.
The USGS recorded the earthquake around 9:04 a.m. this morning.
According to their site, “The USGS monitors and reports on earthquakes, assesses earthquake impacts and hazards, and conducts targeted research on the causes and effects of earthquakes.”
This is one of the strongest earthquakes to hit the region in the last century.
Reports of any damage is not yet known.
