Evacuation orders for subdivision fire

FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. – An evacuation order has been issued by Fannin County Emergency Management Agency for all residents in Whispering Lake Subdivision.

The agency states that there is ‘currently a large brush fire in Whispering Lake Subdivision off of Bullen Gap Rd with several structures in danger’.

It appears that there are multiple acres on fire.
Also, it should be noted that Fannin County is currently under a burn ban until Dec. 16 and there is currently an high wind advisory until tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.

The agency stated all residents in Whispering Lake Subdivision should evacuate.
