Trouble calling 911 in Tennessee/Georiga

BRADLEY COUNTY, Ga.-Bradley County 911 has noticed that some Verizon wireless customers are experiencing trouble calling 911.

This is a problem being experienced in other parts of the state as well. Verizon is working on the problem until the problem is resolved to contact emergency personnel call 423-728-7280 or 423-728-7298.

Update:

There are some reports that VERIZON Customers are experiencing issues being able to get through when they dial 911. So far we know that Floyd County, Cherokee County Ala, and Bartow County have reports of this. If you are a VERIZON customer and need Floyd 911, please call our Admin line at 706-236-4541.
