Andrews, NC- If you watched the Andrews Wildcats play a Varsity football game over the previous 3 years, one kid in particular probably caught your eye. It didn’t take a football savant to know that there was something “different” about Isaac Weaver. When the kid touched the ball, you never knew what was going to happen. He’ll now take his talents from Hugh Hamilton Stadium on Friday nights to Meares Stadium on Saturdays as he continues his Academic and Athletic career at Mars Hill University.

The 6’1 200lb running back and defensive back cumulated over 4,000 total yards in his career for the Wildcats, on his way to over 50 total touchdowns. In his senior season alone, he has 31 total TD’s and 1,900 yards to help lead the Cats to a historic 13-1 overall record.

There’s not much that can be said about #7 that hasn’t already been said, but one thing is for certain: Mars Hill got the steal of the class of 2023. We look forward to watching Isaac continue to excel at the next level, and we know he will make an immediate impact on the Lions as he did the Wildcats.
