Lady Rebels Headed To Sweet 16 For 5th Straight Year

The Fannin County Lady Rebels basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16 for the 5th time in as many years thanks to their blowout victory over North Cobb Christian on Tuesday night, 65-37.

Senior Guard Courtney Davis led the way with 22 points, shooting 5 of 6 from 3pt land and going 5-5 at the free throw line.

Sophomore Avi Ethington was also in double figures for the Lady Rebs, adding 11 points to go along with 2 assists.

Fannin shot the ball very well as a team, hitting at a 40% clip from behind the arc and making good on 14 of 17 free throws.
