Fannin County found themselves up against a familiar foe in Rockmart in the State Duals Finals. The Region running mates had faced each other a few times already this season, but this was the biggest stage of them all.

Fannin County defeated Murray County (68-9) and Toombs County (39-27) on their way to the finals, while Rockmart ran through Brantley County (74-1) and Landmark Christian (62-12).

Rockmart was able to come out on top thanks to some big wins in the lighter-weight classes that allowed them to put some separation between them and the Rebels, as the Yellow Jackets came away with a 47-22 Championship win.

 

The Rebels fought their hearts out and improved each day during the Duals season, and now will shift their focus to the Individual season as they look to capture another State Championship.
