Commissioner Cooper admitted to hospital

Commissioner Molly Cooper

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Forsyth County Commissioner Molly Cooper was admitted to Northside Hospital Forsyth for treatment of pancreatic cancer.

A source that requested anonymity said she told her fellow county commissioners last week that she will need to take time off to begin treatment.

Cooper, who serves as vice chairwoman of the Board of Commissioners, was elected in 2018 to a four-year term. She is up for reelection in 2022.
