Washington, D.C. – Congressman Collins will host a reception tomorrow, May 6, for the students from the Ninth District who participated in the 2016 Congressional Art Competition. The reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Congressman Collins’ Gainesville office, at 210 Washington St. NW, Suite 202, Gainesville, GA 30501.
Open to high school students in grades 9-12, students were eligible to submit one piece of art for consideration. All participants have been invited to the reception, where their work will be on display. The winning selection will be announced at the reception, and will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year, for visitors from all around the country to admire.
