Dallas Police Department Earns New Certification

The Dallas Police Department is proud to announce that it has earned State Law Enforcement Certification from the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police. To attain certification, the department has spent the last three years working toward meeting and complying with standards set forth by the GACP. Through this process, the department implemented new policies and were assessed by a joint review committee to achieve the award. To maintain the certification, our department will continue with an ongoing evaluation and assessment every three years to ensure that our practices are consistent with the most progressive professional standards in law enforcement.
