Fannin- Bryson Holloway 96 all-purpose yards, one rushing TD, one receiving TD / 2 tackles, 2 INTs

Holloway did his job leading his Rebels to a big blowout win over Murray County. He will hope to post similar stats in his next game vs Rockmart as Fannin will look to pull off the upset.

North Murray- Carson Gibson

Pickens- LB Mason Powell 6 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 PD

Powell made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball as the Dragons notched their second region victory in a row and have moved into the playoff picture. Powell will need to keep his efforts up if the Dragons want to make the playoffs.

Gilmer- RB Brock Titus 23 carries 95 yards, 4.1 YPC

Brock Titus was the workhorse for the Bobcats as he accounted for 43% of the offensive snaps. Though his team found little success, Titus did what he could against the stout Dawson defense and fell just short of another 100 yard performance.

Union- WR Jensen Goble 10 receptions 146 yards, 2 TDs

It was Goble’s turn to put up videogame numbers for the Panthers offense. He caught two of the three TD passes from QB Caiden Tanner and led the team in receiving yards.

White- RB Ryan Fowler 12 carries 92 yards, 1 rushing TD, 5 receptions 128 yards

Though Fowler fell just 8 yards short of his third straight 100+ yards rushing performance, he was able to get over 100 yards in the air and finished with 220 all purpose yards with one TD.

Dawson- RB Elijah Smith 10 carries, 104 yards, 1 TD, 1 KR TD

Smith used his explosiveness to get the only two Tigers TDs on Friday night. Despite a slow start for Dawson in the first half, Smith brought the opening kickoff in the second half to the house for a big momentum swing, giving the Tigers life. Later in the third quarter Smith found the endzone again on a big 39 yard run.

Chatooga- DL Richard Bass 17 total tackles, .5 TFL

The Indians suffered another blowout loss on Friday night, but Bass was able to turn in another solid performance. He now has 31 total tackles in his last two games.

Lumpkin- QB Cooper Scott 13/19 185 yards, 1 passing TD, 23 carries 229 yards, 4 rushing TDs

Scott once again dominated the box score with another multi-touchdown performance. He now has 12 TDs in his last two games. Scott will have a chance to prove himself against the region’s best defense this upcoming Friday night as he hopes to lead his Indians to a big upset over Dawson County.
