Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Seizure and Two Arrests in White County

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. – A routine traffic stop in White County led to the discovery of drugs and the execution of a search warrant that resulted in two arrests, according to the White County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies stopped Terrie “Border” Lingerfelt on October 29, 2025. During the stop, deputies reported finding methamphetamine and marijuana inside the vehicle. Investigators then obtained a search warrant for Lingerfelt’s residence on Luther Palmer Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, the search of the home resulted in the seizure of approximately four and a half pounds of marijuana, a Schedule IV controlled substance, and various drug-related items. A woman at the residence, identified as Lauren Adams, was also taken into custody.
The following arrests and charges were reported:
Terrie Daryl Lingerfelt, 52, of Cleveland, GA
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
Lauren Adams, 40, of Cleveland, GA
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
The sheriff’s office did not release additional details about the ongoing investigation.
