PRESS RELEASE – The Cumming to Hall County Pipeline is projected to cross into Dawson County in the next three weeks.
Crews are currently working at the junction near Spot Road where the Pipeline will cross underneath Hwy 9, in Forsyth County.
Dawson County residents will have several weeks to prepare before crews move North into Dawson.
A large portion of the pipeline corridor follows an existing Georgia Power Easement, however, residents who have received letters will be located inside the determined construction zone and surrounding areas which might hear blasting when construction begins.
The actual pipeline will be marked with white ribbon markers.
Crews and consultants from Atlanta Gas Light will be in Dawson County through the entire process and have insured the highest level of safety and engineering.
In areas where the pipeline will cross private property, landscaping crews will follow to restore yards with grass and/ or sod. Dawson County residents can request an informational packet from Atlanta Gas Light. (404) 584-3186 www.atlantagaslight.com
