Man Wanted in South Carolina on Multiple Sex Offenses is Arrested in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ga. – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Thursday who was wanted in South Carolina on numerous outstanding warrants, including charges related to the solicitation of a minor.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received information on February 26, 2026, regarding a subject wanted out of South Carolina for multiple warrants. Authorities said the warrants included one count of solicitation of a minor and 11 additional warrants for sex offenses.

Deputies from the Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Division located and took Dennis Jerry Conner into custody without incident at a residence on Pleasant Hill Road. The arrest was made based on the outstanding South Carolina warrants.

Officials said the sheriff’s office remains committed to protecting county residents, particularly children.
