Man Arrested after Attempting to Throw Drugs Out of His Vehicle

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. – On July 7th, 2026, Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives concluded an undercover operation that resulted in the arrest of Jerry Bramblett. Detectives provided evidence that Jerry threw containers out of the vehicle he was operating as they attempted to make contact with him. Detectives discovered that the containers had 1,550 grams of Methamphetamine inside.

As a result, Jerry was placed into custody and brought to the Whitfield County Jail for the following charges:
O.C.G.A. 16-13-30(A)(2) Possession of Methamphetamine
O.C.G.A. 16-13-30(B)(3) Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent to Distribute
O.C.G.A. 16-13-31 Trafficking in Methamphetamine

Operations like this are evidence that our Narcotics Unit is working non-stop to ensure that narcotics dealers in our County are being brought to justice. Sheriff Pierce has said it a MILLION times now… We WILL be aggressively targeting narcotics and dealers in Whitfield County, and we have no intention of slowing down. Honestly, if they haven’t gotten the message now, we don’t know what to say. Our county has a serious “Find Out” policy to those who like to “Mess Around”
