Drug Investigation Leads to Arrest of Multiple Suspects

WAYNESVILLE, NC – Chief David Adams announced today the results of a three-month long investigation involving the illegal sales of narcotics that wrapped up in October.

Members of Waynesville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, T.A.C. Unit, Patrol Division, and the NC SBI assisted with the investigation. The following persons have been arrested and charged with the listed crimes:

Tambra Barry – 3 Counts of PWIMSD Schedule ll, maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substance, 3 Counts of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Bond was set at $26,000 Secured
Janet Flynn – 4 Counts PWISD Schedule lll, 3 Counts of Maintaining a Vehicle, 3 Counts of Trafficking Opium by Transport, 3 Counts of Trafficking Opium by Possession, 3 Counts of Simple Possession of Schedule lll, 2 Counts of PWIMSD Schedule ll and 2 Counts of Possession of Methamphetamine – Bond was set at $450,00 Secured
Michelle Kane – PWIMSD Marijuana & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Bond was set at $1,500 Secured
Christie Keith – Possession of Cocaine, Simple Possession of Marijuana & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Bond was set at $2,500 Secured
Lydia Irvine – 3 Counts of PWIMSD Schedule lll, 2 Counts of Maintaining a Vehicle, Conspiracy, Trafficking Opium by Transport, Trafficking Opium by Possession & 3 Counts of Possession of Schedule ll – Bond was set at $85,000 Secured
Haley Smith – 2 Counts of PWIMSD Schedule lll, 2 Counts of Maintaining a Vehicle, Conspiracy, PWIMSD Schedule ll, Possession of Methamphetamine & 2 Counts of Possession of Schedule lll – Bond was set $20,000 Unsecured
