PRESS RELEASE – The Lanier Regional Drug Task Force—made up of Dawson, Forsyth, Milton, and Johns Creek officers—conducted a search warrant last week, which resulted in three arrests.
During the last few months, deputies received intel that James “Guy” Sanders has been selling large quantities of methamphetamine from 153 Dawson Forest Road in Dawsonville, GA. Investigations led to a controlled buy from Guy, leading to a search warrant.
During the execution of the search warrant, 125 grams of meth and THC wax were recovered. Distribution material was found, including numerous baggies of different sizes, digital scales, etc. Numerous smoking devices were recovered. Several firearms were located in the residence and were seized. Over $700.00 was taken for seizure.
While clearing the residence, Tia Grindle, a wanted subject out of Lumpkin County, was located.
Guy Sanders was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.
Kay Sanders was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule I THC.
Tia Grindle was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule I THC, possession of drug-related objects, and wanted person located.
