Congressman Collins: “Let’s take a proactive approach to what’s going on in the world”

November 19, 2015

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Collins managed the rule for debate on HR 4038, the American Security Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act. The bill puts a rigorous screening process in place for refugees seeking entrance into the U.S., and holds the Director of the FBI, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and Director of National Intelligence accountable for the screening process.

“Vote with the side of those who are protecting America, to make sure that we’re protected, that’s a simple choice.”
