ATLANTA, GA- The lawfully ordered execution of John Wayne Conner for the 1982 murder of James T. White was carried out this morning at 12:29 am at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Center in Jackson, Georgia. The sentence was carried out after the United States Supreme Court denied Conner’s request for a stay of execution.
