Drug Arrest Involving Three Individuals

PRESS RELEASE – Pursuant to recent narcotics investigations, The Murray County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals from Murray County that were involved in drug trafficking.

Kevin Langford of Chatworth was arrested following a narcotics investigation and the execution of a search warrant at his residence.

He was found with approximately 5 ounces of Methamphetamine. He was charged with the following:

  • Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
  • Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to Distribute.

Jimmy and Amy Mantooth of Chatsworth were arrested following a narcotics investigation and assistance from Dalton PD.

They were in possession of approximately 14 grams of fentanyl powder, 13 grams of fentanyl pills, and other drug related objects. They were charged with the following:

  • Trafficking in Fentanyl.
  • Possession of Fentanyl with the Intent to Distribute.
  • Possession of Drug Related Objects.

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Dalton Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
