KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Have you felt called to protect your city and civilians before? Blount county and at least 40 more Tennessee law agencies are hosting a Law Enforcement Job Fair on Thursday, June 30th! It will take place in the Knoxville Expo Center from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

This job fair may be perfect for you! This job fair is the largest in the region for Law Enforcement! Blount County is looking for energic people with open schedules and competitive drive.

To begin with, there will be resources available this Thursday for you to connect with local officers and state troopers in the field. You will be able to send in your resume to law agencies regarding several different positions in correctional, deputy offices, and FBI. There is even opportunities for you to reach out to agencies with the army too!

Specifically to this county, correctional and parole officer positions are open. The job description states that some of these duties include conducting investigations, transporting vehicles, and issuing warrants.

In addition, starting pay for Blount County officers is progressive. Salaries range anywhere between 30,000 and 60,000 a year.

Benefit packages for officers include health care, retirement, and sick pay.
