Live Nativity to Make a Bold Statement

ELLIJAY, Ga – Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out the third annual live nativity at Whitepath Fabtech, across from Pilgrim’s Pride, in Ellijay on Friday, December 19th and Saturday, December 20th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The drive-thru nativity scene is a community wide event that is hosted by Whitepath Fabtech, but there are also many churches and organizations involved, as well.

Along with the eight churches that were involved in putting the live nativity together, Build An Ark Animal Rescue of Ellijay will be providing several animals including sheep, llamas, and camels, as well as several others to help the scene come alive.

When asked for the reasoning behind hosting the live nativity, Whitepath Fabtech employee Janice Durden stressed the importance of remembering the reason for the season.

“During a time when less and less things are done to honor God this is a bold way to remind people what the real reason for the season is,”

said Durden.

The cost to enjoy the nativity is FREE, although donations are appreciated and welcome and will go to serving the local community in need through missions.

Also, at the end of the drive-thru there will be free gift bags being handed out with several goodies inside, including a bible, while supplies last.
